Dr. Parks, his wife, and their youngest son reside in Hinesville, GA where he serves as the Evangelism Pastor of Life UPC. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry in 2014 at Hope International University (Apostolic School of Theology), his Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019 at South University and his Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling at Liberty University in 2021. He is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church. He has served in pastoral ministry for the past 14 years providing pastoral leadership, training, and counseling to church members and staff. As a military veteran, he served 21 years in the United States Army until retirement in 2013. He is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and is Board Certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC). He is also board certified in tele-mental health with the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). He has extensive experience providing appropriate pastoral counseling to those suffering with substance use and addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, end of life, and other phase of life issues. He uses a variety of counseling modalities from a holistic approach including mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health allowing a smooth transition into a faith-based integrated therapeutic approach.
