Life in Focus
Introduction
The use of drugs and alcohol is something that has no prejudice. Young and old, rich and poor, all races have seen the effects of addiction to these substances. We are excited to offer the community an opportunity of faith-based teaching, mentoring, and encouragement to those who are struggling in the area of chemical dependency. Our desire is to steer individuals on a path of recovery through self-discovery by educating them on various life skills subjects.
Mission Statement
Through group interaction and support, our mission is to be a source of education, guidance, and encouragement toward recovery and to provide a safe atmosphere where the individual can open up and share struggles with chemical dependency. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!...Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, 12.
